Dr Shikha Aggarwal

Dr Aggarwal graduated from the Monash University in Melbourne with Honours.  Following this, she completed her Internship, Residency and Basic Physicians training at Westmead Hospital.

She was awarded her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) upon completion of her specialist training in Renal medicine. Dr Aggarwal completed her training through a number of leading hospitals across Sydney: Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital, St George Hospital, Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Wollongong Hospital.

Dr Aggarwal has completed a PHD on the subject of Hypertensive disorders of Pregnancy. Her research involved working with expert scientists, doctors and Professors from around the world including  Australia, Sweden and USA. Her work was published in a top American Journal of Obstetrics and gynaecology and presented at the International meeting of ISSHP (International society of the study  of hypertension in pregnancy) in Brazil 2016.

 

She is a  VMO at the Mater Hospital, Mater Dialysis Clinic, Northern Beaches Hospital and Lindfield Dialysis Unit.

 

In addition to English, Dr Aggarwal also speaks Hindi.
