
Dr Patrick Gkin-Huah Lan
Dr Lan completed his medical degree at UNSW completing in 2003 and his basic physician training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.
Dr Lan completed his renal advanced training at RPA Hospital and Concord Hospital in 2012.
He completed his PhD at RPA Hospital and the University of Sydney looking at improving the clinical outcomes for women with hypertension in pregnancy and pre-eclampsia.
Dr Lan is published in multiple international medical journals in both renal medicine and hypertension in pregnancy. He has also presented at both national and international conferences. He continues to be involved in clinical research and is an affiliate of the Sydney Institute for Women, Children and their Families.
Dr Lan is involved with medical Registrar training at both RPA Canterbury Hospitals, and is the current Director of Physician Education at Canterbury Hospital.
He is also involved in medical student teaching at both the University of Sydney and the University of Notre Dame, and is a clinical senior lecturer at the University of Sydney.
Dr Lan has privileges at the Mater, Canterbury and RPA Hospitals. He has a keen interest in hypertension, pregnancy-related hypertension and dialysis.
Dr Lan speaks English and Cantonese.
